Ian Stevenson’s fabulous little video, “Stare Into the Sun”, is chock full of visual and audio goodness. To be honest, I’m not all that sure how to describe it other than it totally put a great big smile on my face.

Weird Internet Find: Bread Shoes!

I saw these and was immediately reminded of SuperForester Julius’s excellent post on bread.

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, SuperForest, those are bread shoes. Shoes that are both wearable and eatable (ewwwwwww!!!) The Lithuanian designer team that created them says they are…

eatable…dries itself… made from bread…first in fashion…
needs no pressing…feels good in dry climate …won’t sag

I’m not sure which idea came first: “I wish my shoes were bread so I could eat them” or “I love bread so much, I wish I could walk around in it”. Either way, the peculiarity is beyond me. You can buy them here for €27, but in my humble opinion, for a pair of bread shoes, that’s a lot of dough (hehehe).
