
Ohhhhh the hot town! The Big Greezy! Apple-potamus! Whatever you call her, New York is one thoroughly photographed ‘burg.
SuperForester Joey Joseph was kind enough to send in a link to wirednewyork.com’s incredible set of black and white images of old time New York. Beginning in the 1880′s, these pictures give nearly a hundred-year slice of New York cream. There’s some Weegee, some Stieglitz, a taste of Louis Hine’s Empire State building under construction. It’s bliss.
