Goooood niiiiighttttttttt SuperForest….
So very tired now. Carla and I met up yesterday in San Diego, well, last night in San Diego, then a few hours sleep, then a meeting at UCSD with the eminent Dr. Keith Pezzoli and his wife Janice about various topics, including composting toilets, bike tours, musical outreach. Then Carla and I attended an amazing class on the culture of poverty, (thought provoking!) then Miss Carla dropped me off at the train station in Solana Beach, where I promptly missed my train… Finally, I got on another train and was at last headed back to Los Angeles.
I made a movie on the train, which was a very cool train, and I had it all to myself for a great deal of the ride, which allowed me to hijinks all over the place and act the fool. (which I excel at.) I also refer to the bathroom on the train as a train station bathroom, which it is not. It is a train bathroom, moving about at high rate of speed.
Check it:
After the train to Union Station, a bus to Van Nuys, then picked up by my bro JB, (who had brought SuperForester Baloo along for the ride!) and a quick hustle across the valley to be home in time to meet up with the lovely SuperForester Laura Asheton (of the Dolphin Song fame) as she and I had scheduled a skype interview with a man in Japan named Steven and his students to talk about positive protesting, dolphin rights, sumo, cross-cultural communication, ninja movies, and the weather.
A great day and very SuperForesty. New friends made, connections established, information shared, plans made for perhaps a little dinner and red wine? Yes! So, little by little new players are added to the SuperForest Game.
And now it’s the next morning and I’m running late to get to the airport to fly to NYC to shut down my apartment over there so as to increase my nomad-ness and decrease my spatial usage.
Carla and I talked yesterday about how much cool stuff goes on behind the scenes at SuperForest. Perhaps 90 percent of the cool is unposted and not discussed. I resolve to post more and keep y’all tighter in the loop.
Tired, wired, inspired.
Love to All!
