I wrote this one yesterday 
the sea and sky meet in haze today.
i ponder love
to oceans rawr
and silence befriends solitude
and lonely hearts remember
that connection is as close as thought
gentle wind shimmies through
this gardens technicolour green
10,000 shades connected by
a word
an idea
like love
and how it’s many forms
are mixed in the tangled web of connotation
and i love yous become a nightmare of context
or for dreamers a reason to hope
far above seagulls glide or beat their wings
on thermals invisible to my eyes
and mist rushes across the landscape of my youth
where 15 years of memory seep into the stones of this earth
and this place with it’s monuments of childhood
gathers me against it’s weathered breast
