A huge massive, planet-sized congratulations to SuperForester Jason, who this last weekend was awarded the Starlight award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
I was lucky enough to be seated in the audience, and after Jason’s heartfelt acceptance speech, he got up and did the best version of “I’m Yours” ever.
Mr. Mrazzleberries had this to say after receiving his award:
“I stumble in awe, with gratitude, being the only sightseer in sight. The cabbies are all asleep after their affairs with their fares and the tourists are tucked up tightly in rented beds with Broadway melodies plumb in their heads. I high five the sky and say goodnight just before dawn, catching my breath after our three day dance. Ms. York was tall and gracious this time.
