Hi!
Undoubtedly, this week was difficult and sad for me and my nation. Yet, there is something stronger than tears and sadness behind this tragedy…It came to my mind while following the news, watching hundreds of people gathering today in Kraków to take part in the president’s & wife’s funeral.
What I mean is the power of the community and love. Thanks to these two concepts we can handle the most difficult times in our lives. Thus, the sudden death of 96 people from the government was a lesson of love, hope and forgiveness.
I think we have passed our test as a community. Finally, the politicians stopped the quarrelling and began supporting each other despite political opinions.
The power of love and community is stronger than any other force…
Yes, the lost is enormous and it will hurt for a long time, but we have gained the seed for a community of love, which (as I believe) will spring eternal.
ps. Life is truely wonderful, even when we are saying it through the tears, we need to trust that nothing happens without a reason.
