SuperForest PSA: xtranormal Text to Movie!

Hello SuperForesters!

Thanks to Facebook and my awesome sister sharing a funny video about Moms meeting in the park, I discovered xtranormal! Maybe it’s because I’m sick and have a lot of time on my hands, but I think this is so rad! You can use this simple software to create your own films, just by typing up a script! Granted, there are limitations if you want to do it for free, but it’s still super fun and rewarding to see the robot-like characters spit out your words!

You can make all sorts of films, but I decided to make a PSA for SuperForest (for lack of a better term!) Share, share, share! Make your own! Share yours with SuperForest!

Yours in anticipation of good health, *cough*

Jackson’s Journal (5/13/09) – Mas Pretty Babies!

Hooray! More Pretty Babies funny fun times.

My process for creating images like these is pretty interesting (imho.) I either scour the web for source images or just take pictures myself when I need something really specific.

Like for this image of the two selenites fighting on the moon…

I knew how I wanted the two combattants to be arranged, and knowing I’d never find it online, I asked a pal of mine to pose for me. I took a bunch of shots of different parts of his body and then cut, pasted, and stretched each one until I had a rough facsimile of the final image.

Cool, no?
