I love a man who gives it to you straight.  Tells it like it is.  Packs no punches. James Lovelock, the now 90 year old originator of the famous, controversial Gaia Hypothesis... is just such a man.  In this interview I found on thenewscientist, Lovelock lays down the law of the planet, what mankind is doing to it (and thus primarily ourselves), and what he sees as the only true solution to reverse the trend.
