“A whistleblower you haven’t heard” & JR’s Turning the World Inside Out

Ted Talks just finished up its most recent conference, and the videos are starting to be put up! So in anticipation of some amazing and exciting speakers I want to present one fun, older video and one of the new ones!

First! This video shares one of the world’s whistling kings, Geert Chatrou! Enjoy it.

Second! Ted Prize Winner and Wisher, JR. JR is an artist who is CHANGING the world. He is taking portraits of people around the world and sharing his and their work publicly. He is giving the public ownership of his and their art. This is so awesome and amazing. Enjoy it!

If you are at all interested in getting involved with JR and his project just click this link: YES!

Love & aloha,

Street Art: Phone Boxes

To go with Carla’s post. This was just down the road from my apartment here in NY.

Fortissimo Piano: This Brand Is Gentle to Human.

Sounds like a good piano.

Fun is the Sun!

I just came across this gallery of breathtaking new photos of our beloved sun!
Couldn’t help but think of SuperForester Carla’s excellent post “Keep Us Where the Light Is.”

The sun gets my vote for “object most desperately in need of re-deification.” I mean, sun worship is not really a new idea, but it’s a fairly convincing one. The sun IS directly responsible for all life on this planet, and when it “dies” it will take the entire solar system with it. Pretty compelling argument.

You might be convinced after checking out this gallery.

Love!
