It’s the sound Pac Man makes as he gobbles up all those delicious white dots (and fruits). In my opinion it’s more of a “wagga” sound, but wakka is the correct Pacmanish spelling. It’s a trochee. The stressed “wak” falls on the closing of his yellow jaws, and the unstressed “ka” follows his opening and preparation for yet another gulp. It’s a philosophy. It says, “Look at me, I keep going in the face of adversary!” It’s a way of life. That’s all you need to know.
