The man himself, Bob Marley! It was awesome. We had such a long chat about the philosophy behind “One Love”. We were basically “Jamming” for the whole morning. Dude, there was this one crazy part, about an hour in, and these three little birds sat outside the window at Jitters, and Bob said, “I’m totally getting deja vu right now guys…” Anyway… before the conversation Carla got a chai vanilla coffee and being the generous guy that he is, Bob said straight away, “Here Carla, let me stir that up for you.” Gosh. He was wonderful.
It was definitely one of the coolest experiences I’ve had to date. He had a massage scheduled at the place next door at 2 PM, so we decided to make our “Exodus” out and I went to the Salehian sisters’ house, where her mom had a great meal ready for my vegetarian self. More info tomorrow, but I just thought I’d share some with you today. Part one of the interview debuts exclusively on SF tomorrow morning.
