Hey there SuperForest!
A few weeks ago SuperForester Carla shared this fabulous website with me and I just had to share it. My Parents Were Awesome is a site consisting of pictures of people’s parents when they were younger, making for a pretty awesome catalogue of the past decades. Its a simple idea but possibly one of the most original and entertaining I’ve ever seen!

Before the fanny packs and Andrea Bocelli concerts, your parents (and grandparents) were once free-wheeling, fashion-forward, and super awesome.

Although the site states that these parents WERE awesome, I’d like to argue that they still are.
