Dearest SuperForest,
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Alain and a bicycle named Suzette. Suzette was given to Alain as a birthday present and even though the bike was too large for him to ride (yet), Suzette and Alain were good friends. One day, Suzette went missing. She was stolen.
This is the story of how the fabled friends try to find each other. It is a lovely tale of lost and found.
It is a bicycle love story.
(Warning: Just a heads up. The bad guy that steals Suzette has raunchy taste when it comes to literature. The video contains brief nudity but it wasn’t bad enough to the point where it would stop me from sharing the heartwarming tale.)
Love to Matt Daniels, Sean Pecknold, and everyone else involved in creating this beautiful little story. This was the winning submission to the 2006 48-hour film festival (meaning it was made in two days!). I first saw it several days ago and have been thinking about it ever since. I think that pretty much sums it up nicely.
<3!
