Matt Convente: Fluent Apparel!

Good Morning, SuperForesters!

A couple months ago, I wrote a post about the fabulous Mr. Matt Convente and his work on “microscope”, a project consisting of a series of posters that reflect some of his thoughts. The wittiness of these posters was above and beyond and it was interesting for me to witness some similar thoughts I’ve had be expressed through Convente’s graphic art.

That was in May. Yesterday, I received a lovely email from Mr. Convente telling me of his latest work. He has started an apparel company, Fluent Apparel!

And his first two t-shirt designs are blasting their way directly from his ‘microscope’ project.

Incredible! Thanks for the update, Matt! Convente’s Fluent Apparel is barely underway but it is (and will continue to be) such a treat to watch this idea bloom from what was once a senior degree project into what I’m sure will be one of the next top apparel companies.

You can visit Fluent Apparel’s website by clicking here!
And be sure to visit Matt’s website for some more peeks at this man’s wonderful work!

Namaste,

Matt Convente’s “microscope”!

Howdy, SuperForest!

SuperForester Maureen just gave word of a BFA Senior Degree Project titled “microscope” by graphic design student Matt Convente. I’m not sure how exactly she discovered him but it took only a few seconds of looking through his project website to put a big smile on my face.

What Convente did was basically create many posters that reflect his thoughts, fears, superstitions, and desires. Or as he simply puts it, “microscope is a study of me”.

Take a peek!

Fun! Kinda makes me wonder what kind of personal information I’d share if I were to create a similar project…hmmm. To see more of Matt’s work, you can visit the microscope site here, or go directly to his own website here!

And, of course, a big thank you goes out to Maureen for sharing that!

Love!
