Louis C.K. “Everything is Amazing and Nobody is Happy”

Good Morning, SuperForest!

I’ve always felt I am one of those people that has a love/hate relationship with technology. I love the stuff…truly. But I’m also quick to become very frustrated with it whenever things go wrong. For me, this tends to be in the middle of the night, hours before a deadline. But despite all of the ups and downs of this relationship, I’m very guilty of not taking a step back and appreciating technology for what it really is. Amazing. A few days ago, I came across a video that reminded me of this. This now iconic clip highlights the incredible advances of our species and just how impatient we’ve all become.

But before I share it, I have to say I could’ve sworn I had seen this before, and not only that, I could’ve sworn I had seen this on SuperForest before. But my several searches through the archives proved to be fruitless and as I was contemplating whether or not to share this, I figured it didn’t take long for me to forget about the existence of this video and its message the last time my printer was going crazy and watching it again was totally worth my while. So if you haven’t seen this before, great! If you have, even better! Watch it again! Because it doesn’t take long for Louis C.K.’s enthusiasm to fill you up with upmost joy, excitement, and of course, appreciation.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! (And while we’re on the topic of technology and how amazing it is, it looks like our birthday video is done! Yay!)

With Love,
Carla
