Good Evening SuperForest!
It’s been a few months since SuperForesters Iman, Maureen, Sam, and I created a chalk art mural called “The Light Bulb of Love” on a cement wall in the UCSD campus. Being that I went to go buy my textbooks today on campus, my curiosity got the best of me and I went over to the wall to see if any of it had lasted the summer.
There it is, SuperForest!
Faded chalk art of an image that’s emblazoned on my heart.

As I was gazing upon this wall, a funny feeling washed over me. In a way, I felt we’ve come full circle. It was a washed out faded chalk light bulb that inspired me to bring it back in the first place, and in doing so, SuperForest it up a bit in the process. Once again, we find a new faded light bulb. A blank slate for another inspired soul to make their own.
Well, almost blank.
Curiously enough, despite the robot, the colorful text, and the light bulb having gone on their way, one part of the mural remains…

The domain name!!!
LOLve!!! I guess SuperForester Sam’s mark was meant to stay just a little bit longer to remind people of what once was. Or maybe it is a demonstration of the awesome and resilient power of SuperForest.
With love,
C
P.S. As a reminder, if you’d like to participate in the SuperForest Light Bulb of Love project or remix it to create your own, click here! I highly recommend it, it brings the phrase “have fun” to soaring heights.
