Happy Saturday SuperForest!

Today I want to share with you the founders, dreamers, and creators of Café Gratitude, Matthew and Terces Engelhart! These visionaries have changed the lives of many, including mine. If you haven’t heard of Café Gratitude you might recognise the name from SuperForester Jason’s “Make it Mine.”

In short, Café Gratitude is a learning centre in the guise of a vegan and raw food restaurant. Café Gratitude is there to make their costumers, employees, and partners feel acknowledged, loved, and cared for. Matthew and Terces are amazing human beings, playing on the highest of stages. They are out to change paradigms. They are building a community based on love and acknowledgement, and their practices have huge affects on the people around them.

To get an example of their affects check out the film “May I Be Frank.” Here is a link to Jackson talking about the premiering of this very film back in March of this year! I cannot recommend this movie enough!

It only seems right after sharing Luc & the Lovingtons, and reminding you about their “Freedom Song” again, that I share with you one of their biggest supporters, SuperForester Jason. The man really needs no introduction here, as many of you, including myself, found SuperForest through Freshness Fact Five Thousand, as SuperForester Heather’s post demonstrated. Heyo SuperForest!

Today I wanted to share a musical treat from Leaders Causing Leaders with you! You may remember Luc & the Lovingtons from an interview SuperForest got with them not too long back. (Check it out here!) Luc is the writer of my favourite song, “Freedom Song,” which is now the anthem of Free the Slaves, and heavily featured on SuperForest (like here and here!)

There are so many amazing things about these guys that I was just ubber excited to be seeing them live. It was a great experience, and I hope you enjoy the short video I recorded of them! I wish I had gotten more, but I was busy just enjoying their music and being with friends.

Gooooooddd Morrnninnggg SuperForest!

Round two of Leaders Causing Leaders. If you missed the first part, click here!

Today I am going to present to you two extremely inspirational people. Meet Rich and Yvonne Dutra-St. John.

This two lovely people are the founders of Challenge Day, an organisation that works with youth to bring out love and humanity. They go into high schools and colleges throughout the United States to show children just how similar we really all are. On top of that they now have a TV show on MTV that you may have heard of called “If You Really Knew Me.” These two are the real deal. They are changing the world in the most fantastic of ways. I have their talk in three parts, so please take the time to sit down and enjoy. The first video is an intro to Challenge Day when they were on Oprah. It is very emotional, so you might want to sit with some tissues.

After their talk we, as an audience, participated in a mine Challenge Day. They stated groups, and requested that we stand if we thought we fit in that group. I do not have video from that, but their video series is available on youtube, and here is the same activity we did. It brought me to tears participating, and watching.

These guys are for real. They reach out and touch your soul. Heeeelllllloooooo SuperForest!

YES! The time has come for me to divulge all the goodies that I have been blessed with in the past two days! Get ready for films galore! I would first like to acknowledge all of the speakers, workshop leaders, panel participants, and attendees for making Leaders Causing Leaders come to life. It was truly amazing, thank you all. Now I’d like to throw a special thanks to Erin Ross & Maura Hoffman for co-producing the entire event. I’d especially like to thank Erin for she is a leader and person of huge inspiration. (SuperForester, you will be hearing a lot more about this woman later on!) And now a very special, special thanks to the man you are about to watch open up the conference, Kenneth Schwenker. He is the producer, but more importantly the visionary who dreamt Leaders Causing Leaders, and then had the drive to make it a reality. Thank you Kenneth so much, all at SuperForest are extremely grateful for you contribution.

This following video features Kenneth, but also Joseph Jacques a founder of Harmonic Humanity. This is the organisation is responsible for giving homeless CDs for $1, for the CDs to be then sold for $10. His mission and dream are amazing. Also to be seen is David Rose, founder of the Unified Field Corporation, the same organisation I have talked about before. And so now…here it goes…let it begin…

The following speaker is the one and only Mark Victor Hansen! I have captured his speech in whole, and I hope you do sincerely enjoy it. It is amazing and incredible! It is on the longer side, but hugely worth it! To give some background information, Mark is responsible for the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series. His talk shares idea on how to make a rich and worthy life through business, while attaining fullness of heart and soul. Enjoy!

Gooooooodddd Morning SuperForest!

Mathew here at Long Beach Convention Center!! I wanted to give you all a quick update on the happenings over here at Leaders Causing Leaders…drum roll please…

IT IS AMAZING!! There is so much love and inspiration gathered in one place that it blows my mind! I have had the fortune of meeting, speaking, and sharing space with true leaders that are changing the world. And WOW! The ideas and beliefs these people hold in their hearts and brains are amazing, if that even gives them justice. The other added benefit is that I have been sharing our dear SuperForest far and wide! So, I look forward to welcoming any new readers in the next few days and weeks! WELCOME!

The power of change is really here SuperForest. I haven’t felt it so strongly before. There are people who are ready for change, and better yet are speaking out for it. AND EVEN BETTER YET they are acting it out! They are being change! It is truly inspirational.

I do have video to share with you all, including concert video of our great friends Luc & the Lovingtons, but sadly my internet connection is too slow here to share it with you all now! I am so sorry, but as soon as I am back home I will be able to upload, upload, upload!! There are some speakers that will blow your mind, and some that will make you cry, and some that will make you smile. What they all have in common is that they fill you with hope and optimism! Sound familiar? Yes! this conference rocks!

Hello SuperForest!

Next week there is going to be a huge gathering of awesome cats from around the globe sharing their experiences at the communal table. The event itself is the LEADERShift 2010 conference presented by Leaders Causing Leaders! The whole idea behind it is to have leaders share their experiences, and then to learn about tools we can use to go out and lead. Each of us are leaders already, and the conference will help some realise their current potential, or give others grand new ideas to implement in their own workplace, home, website, etc. As it says on the website itself the conference’s goal is:

To Awaken the Leader Within.

Leadership is a defining characteristic of any generation. Where it is created, innovation and change become real possibilities.

We’re assembling leaders and visionaries, creating exhilarating panels from technology to social entrepreneurship to spirituality, arranging and hosting seminars and workshops with some of the great teachers of our time and celebrating this experience together with a  Saturday evening conscious music festival.

Now does that not sound awesome or what!? Workshops will be held throughout both days to expand yourself and learn.

So when is all of this exactly?

November 6th & 7th (a Saturday and Sunday, with the concert Saturday night)

The Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA
