That’s right SuperForesters… today marks the 50th anniversary of the 50th state’s union into the great American nation. And while this landmark is not without its controversy (see Hawaiian Sovereignty Movement), there is no denying the significant and psychological impact of turning Fifty. And I gotta say, for an older gal, Hawaii’s still looking pretty damn good. Maybe we should change our motto to “the cougar state.”
Congratulations Hawaii on reaching this milestone. I think we should all going surfing and eat poke to celebrate!
