SuperForesters Jackson & Jackie Teach Upcycling @ Brooklyn Skillshare

picture-14

Goooood Morning Lovely SuperForest!

I hope this finds everybody well this fine day, October 26th…
On the 10th of October, SuperForester Jackie and myself taught a class on upcycling for Meg Wachter’s amazing Brooklyn Skillshare.

Jackie and I showed an amazingly friendly (I hadn’t yet had any coffee) group of people how to safely and easily turn glass bottles into cup, bowls, and vases, lovingly handmade and gorgeous to the eyes.

I will post a video on how to do it in the comfort of your own home very soon.

SuperForester Mark was on hand and sent me these lovely photos:

The class went really well. At one point in time, I had everyone raise their hands and repeat: “I, state your name, understand that there is treasure everywhere. And I promise to find it.” Like sixty plus people all did it. It was grand.

Cheers to SuperForester Mark for sending in the photos, to Meg Wachter for throwing the event, and of course, to the incredible SuperForester Jackie for teaching the class with me.

Gooooood Morning SuperForest!

I, SuperForester Jackson, will be making a rare live appearance, for one night only, at Urban Rustic in Brooklyn next Tuesday (the 30th) night, to teach a lucky squad of attendees how to magically turn trash into treasure, by turning glass bottles into vases and glasses. Vases and glasses that can be sold! Or have liquids drunk out of them! Or have flowers placed within them! The choices are seemingly endless.

Yes folks, I will be providing all tools and materials needed, as well as a steady stream of snappy patter, and by evenings end you too will posses the secret of the magical trash-to-treasure transformation!

Seating is limited, space is limited, so if you’d like to come, rock it first come/first served style and get there early. They have good local beers, and a veggie burrito that made me fondly recall my good old days in foggy San Francisco.

Bring any glass bottles you’d like to see magnificently and magically transformed. (And if you have any folding cash that you need cleaned and pressed, I’ll happily take it from you and arrange to have it done at a low and reasonable rate.)

Tuesday, June 30th, 7:30 Post Meridian!
