Heyo, Superforest!
I bought some chalk today…
And you know what that means!!! (Okay maybe you don’t, so I should probably start at the beginning).
Last week, I wrote about some lovely chalk art that was drawn up on one of the walls of my university campus. It was a bittersweet moment when I saw the lovely image get washed away on a particularly misty morning. So I decided I would be the one to bring that lovely light bulb back…SuperForestifying it a bit along the way.
So today I bought some chalk. Tomorrow, SuperForesters Maureen and Imanza are going to help me bring the light bulb back by drawing a simple mural. (Totally washable so I hope we don’t get in trouble, but I’ll leave a note saying I’ll gladly wash it off if it causes a ruckus. Not that the mural will be scandalous or anything…)
And while I’m on the topic of “chalk”…
That was the music video for “Autumn Story” by Firekites and was animated with chalkboard drawings by co-directors Lucinda Schreiber and Yanni Kronenberg…and it is awesome!
Anyway, I’m super excited for tomorrow! I’ll be sure to take some pictures and write all about the experience. Until then, wish us luck!
