Painting of the Week – “Bird Face”

Gooood Morning SuperForest!

Last week I did a painting, plopped it on ebay, and watched with a mixture of amusement and amazement as it sold for… $42 smackeroos! Nice! Cheers to SuperForester Robin for her patronage!

So, here’s a second painting my lovelies! To thrill and amuse! And I’ve done a little movie so’s you can viddy how it gets done.

Bird Face is up on Ebay now, and the auction ends in 4 days. Enjoy!

Much love and aloha,

-Jackson

Nice Faaaaaace!

Carl Sagan believed that as a survival technique, human beans are wonderfully wired to identify the human face. He thought this allowed people to use only minimal details to recognize faces from a far and in low light but this “skill” can also lead us to interpret random images, inanimate objects or patterns of light as being faces indeed.

I think when I turn away, they come alive!

Where have YOU found faces?
