Normally we post about happier things here at SuperForest, but I found this video so informative that I felt it had to be shared with y’all. I realize I may be a little slow and that the stimulus package has already been laid out, but I believe that if we are going to stop this kind of thing from happening again we need to know why it all started.
If you’re like me, you may have some understanding about the credit crisis. You hear certain terms thrown around (like sub-prime mortgages), but the big picture is still kind of hard to grasp.
This excellent animation by Jonathan Jarvis lays out the credit crisis in simple, easy-to-understand steps. I hope you find this video as helpful as I did in understanding just what is going on, and maybe going forward we can prevent this kind of thing from happening again.
