Gooooooood Morning SuperForest!
What really excites me about the next phase of human development is the opportunity for us to come together as a species and rebuild the soil that we depend on to grow our food.
That means adding organic material where it has been stripped away by the overuse of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It also means finding new and interesting ways to remove toxins and contaminants from soil so that they do not get passed up the food chain. There are tons of solutions. Rebuilding the soil and decontaminating the ocean will be our two biggest challenges, while we simultaneously build a new system for housing and providing for the needs of soon to be seven billion of us.
And now there’s a great new movie coming out called Dirt!
Yay!!!! Fun new ideas to explore and grow! And what will really bake your noodle is the speed with which we can regrow and rebuild our dirt. We can do anything we want if we put our minds to it, and join together.
