I’ve always been a “cat person.” I can remember all the cats’ names we had while I was growing up. And I’ve always been fascinated by their self-sufficient nature and their inclination to come and go as they please. (Fire cat literally just walked out of his cat door as I typed that.)
As an 11 year old girl in 1993, embarking on my exploration of music for my ever expanding mind, I discovered a cassette tape in my older and much cooler brother’s room. I had no idea that when I commandeered that tape, its influence would change my life in a tremendous way. That tape was Radiohead – Pablo Honey.
Last night, I stayed awake a few hours longer than usual and spent some of this time alone on the internet. We all know the sorts of new and interesting places we might find ourselves when wandering around the internet, unescorted. I was fortunate on this adventure! There was nothing scary about what I discovered on the amazing maggiebear.com. Hilarious is more like it. Maggiebear is a longtime Austrian confectioner specializing in cakes of this variety. Talented lovely human!
