Goooood Morning SuperForest!
I was talking to some bros yesterday and I asked a rhetorical question: How are we going to save ourselves?
As in: How are we supposed to remain cheerful and happy in the face of adversity?
SuperForester Evan had a great suggestion! He said: Think of a color.
I tried it, and it totally works! If you are depressed or feeling down, thinking of a color somehow reroutes your brain onto happier tracks so that the choo-choo of your mind can puff along happily again.
So when I get down, I am going to try to pause, flood my mind with memories of brilliant colors, and see how I feel in 30 seconds.
Crimson red is my new therapist. Fun! Cerulean blue is here to help. As is the entire spectrum of greens. Avoid shades of black and white and go for rich, Disney-like color.
Give it a try and see how it works.
Love to all,
Jackson
