Jackson’s Journal (8/2/09) Eco-Tech School is Live!

picture-41

Goooooooood Morning SuperForest!

I haven’t really properly posted in a while and that is because the Marvelous Bee Ladd and I have been hard at work on continuing the great work we did with the 4fives.

We have expanded the curriculum and our ambitions and the final result is Eco-Tech School.

We are planning to open Eco-Tech School for the first class of special ed, inner-city kids in July of 2010.

I am so excited about this! I hope that you all will enjoy watching as Eco-Tech School progresses, as Bee and I will be posting regular updates.

Bee and I are intensely grateful for the unflagging support of Richard Cardillo, Andrew Zuckerman, Mak, Jackie Lam, the Ladd brothers, The Nash & Ladd families, and the teachers and staff of P.S. 58 in Brooklyn.

And an especial “hoorah” to Mr. Caleb Paullus for building the Eco-Tech School site and adorning it with his lovely illustrations. Nice one, Caleb! And hoorah! to Tara, his patient and understanding girlfriend.

Visit the Eco-Tech School site!

We set out to change the world, one willing mind at a time, with all the SuperForesty, Eco-Tech goodness we can muster.

Love to All,
(And I missed you!)
