Brain Harmonizing Piano Music by Gurdjieff

Aloha From Los Angeles Everyone…

Listening to some beautiful Piano music, recorded in the 1920′s, played by a man named George Gurdjieff… a very interesting man.

This music was given to me by the lovely Zero-One residents Justin and Mea, and they told me that it is one of the most meditation friendly recordings they’d ever heard… “brain harmonizing” were their exact words…

And I believe it to be true… within seconds of the first piece I can feel my body adjust to a new state of being… (although, perhaps that’s just because it was my intention to adjust to a new state of being?)

Here’s a video I put together so you can hear what I’m hearing right now… so good.

And while you’re listening, here is an inspirational quote from Gurdjieff:

“Man’s possibilities are very great. You cannot even conceive a shadow of what man is capable of attaining. But nothing can be attained in sleep. In the consciousness of a sleeping man his illusions, his ‘dreams’ are mixed with reality. He lives in a subjective world and he can never escape from it. And this is the reason why he can never make use of all the powers he possesses and why he lives in only a small part of himself.”

Mind Games: World’s Quickest Personality Test & Virtual Barber Shop

There is no denying the fact that our brains are incredible muscles. The power of the mind over the body is something that continues to amaze and mystify me. So in celebration of this body part and the fact that it is Friday, I’ll share with you two YouTube videos that demonstrate the awesome power of our minds.

First up, we have a 55 second personality test. It seemed pretty accurate to me, and those I’ve tried it on. Give it a go and test it out for yourself!

I am totally the first personality type described. My left arm even felt a bit tired while my right felt weightless! Yowza.

So that was just to get you started, this next video kind of freaked me out. It doesn’t work as well without headphones, so if you’ve got a pair handy, grab those (and make sure you have them on correctly, “left” and “right” does play a role) stick them on, close your eyes again and find yourself transported to an Italian barber shop.

Wow. Just Wow. The chills!

And as a side note, For an astonishing read about just how incredible our brains are and the mind blowing feats they are able to accomplish through the simplest things such as positive thinking. Pick up a copy of Norman Doidge’s The Brain That Changes Itself and learn about the amazing discovery of neuroplasticity. It will change your life.

Have an incredible Friday!!!
