The Goods: SuperForester Carla Spills Some of Her Top Internet Sources!

(via flickr user gadl)

Good Morning, SuperForest!

I’ve seen a bunch of my favorite blogs and websites do these “internet sources” posts and apart from finding them incredibly fascinating, I’ve also found that I have greatly appreciated them. So last night I thought it would be fun to write one myself.

I checked my “SuperForesty Links” folder under my bookmarks (yes, it actually exists) and counted 39 websites among the list and therefore decided it would be a better idea if I just listed 5 of my top sites instead. I also figured I’d skip the really obvious ones in an attempt to possibly introduce you to something new.  So here they are, SuperForest! My top internet sources, many of which usually end up as content right here!

  • YewkneeImagine finding a website that matches your personal tastes and interests to a degree that is verging on eerie. That is what Yewknee is to me. Everything posted on this site is good. Everything. And the Friday videos segment is an absolute gift.
  • Like Cool: A website that thankfully, is much better than its name and logo. It is undeniable; you are sure to find something that’ll catch your attention here.
  • It’s Nice That: Its artsy content is matched only by its classiness. Can a website be classy? Oh yes, it definitely can be.
  • Take Part: The frequent environmental/social/health updates are not only highly informative, but highly inspiring. Plus! As an added bonus, for every article featured on this site, there is an “Act” button that you can click which shows you how you can get involved!
  • Waxy: The side panel notes are a treasure trove of cyber goodness that cover a wide range of topics from games and artwork to fascinating news articles. All of which are click worthy.

Yay! There they are! Of course there are many more, and it was very difficult for me to decide which of the many to feature, but I figured this would give you all fairly decent taste. Enjoy!

With love,

Carla
