The good folk who make folding bikes over at Dahon have come up with a product that most of us must have been wondering: “Why don’t we have these yet?” and “Isn’t it so obvious?”.
The concept is super simple: you pedal your bike -> your bike wheels spin -> the electricity generated by your dyno hub powers and charges your devices via the BioLogic FreeCharge. It connects to any dyno hub on the market today. The power goes from the hub into the BioLogic FreeCharge which has a high capacity battery to deal with the fluctuating output of the hub.
So for those of you who enjoy braving the urban elements on two wheels, this handy gadget convert all that wasted kinetic energy into something useful.
