To be completely honest with you, the talent of the soul goddess that is Nina Simone kinda intimidates me to the degree where I feel like I have nothing to write that could possibly add (or even compare) to her music. It would feel superfluous. But in all likelihood, you’re probably watching the video right now, anyway, completely enveloped in the sound and just grooving. And if that’s the case, maybe you aren’t even paying attention to what’s written here. Then again, I guess that’s kind of the point. :)
