“Throwback Week” on SuperForest Soundtrack!

Hello, SuperForesters!

It’s election time here in the States and instead of simply encouraging you all to vote (which goes without say), several of us here at SuperForest have decided to come together and celebrate something most of the media won’t be covering this week. Togetherness.

I know, crazy right? Especially with all sorts of political labels being placed on each other left and right (pun!) But all issues aside, regardless of our “political backgrounds” and ideologies, one thing’s for certain: we’ll all be facing the outcomes of this election together.

And as it just so happens, creating unity over worthy causes was/is something our musical forefathers were particularly excellent at. And over at the SuperForest Soundtrack, we’ve decided to set apart this week (starting today, November 1st) as a special “throwback” week to celebrate some of the excellent tunes of the 60s and 70s that so wonderfully remind us of what really matters in contrast to what the very loud and very distractive media during these tumultuous times.

We’ve kicked off the week with some Cat Stevens and Allman Brothers and you can expect more awesomeness to trickle in throughout the week. And if you’ve got any suggestions, be sure to drop us a comment and we’ll be sure to include your selections, too!

Have a very happy election day!
