Awesome. Here’s the fourth part in which we talk about guitar, songwriting, Dave Matthews, Brett Dennen, and his current tour. I’ll let the video (and Jason) do the talking.
By the way, Jason had this to say about SF and me today:
notsosuperkate: What music are you listening to at the moment? Are you reading any books?
I seem to have misplaced my handy cassette tape gadget that allows me to play my ipod thru thecassette drive. So I’ve been rocking the following compact discs on repeat for the last week and a half.
Slot 4: A delightful new disco filled superforest soundtrack.
Slot 5: A bizarre mix by Devandra Bernhardt, that includes his hit, “I got Chinese Children.”
Slot 6: Sadly Empty
Readingwise: I’m currently dog-earing “Franny & Zooey,” a Classic by J.D. Salinger, which I’d never read until now. The book was a generous gift from my friend Superforester Chris, who is a very caring and compassionate blogger/activist/poet and is obviously a reliable resource for a good read. See my hang with Chris and company here, where the grass IS greener. You’ll even find a recent Q & A with me documented in several lengthy episodes.
Awesome. He’s referring to a killer music soundtrack that Iman and Carla threw together very carefully, filled with artists that I’ve been featured here, right on the SF Soundtrack. Too cool. I’m super glad Jason had a chance to broadcast such kind words. I’m stoked. SuperForest reciprocates the love right on back.
Much love to all,
Chris, Carla, and Iman
P.S.: Franny and Zooey is a very good book, and I recommend it to all, (:
