I hearby grant you (yes, you) as amazing!

Hi Superforesters!

I just posted a new entry on my personal blog I AM BEING and I am just so excited by this new way of thinking that I have taken on that I want to share it with everyone that I can!

What if I create everyone as amazing? What if I only see possibilities for everyone? What if I forget (or put aside) all past experiences with family and friends that do not create them as being their highest self?

I have an example for you. One of my close friends is planning to embark on being fully silent for the month of June. She is a singer (and a super talented one) who often goes on vocal rests to take care of her voice, but those usually only last a day or so. This girl loves to sing and this girl loves to talk. She is incredibly social and lives with her equally social, equally talkative boyfriend. This month of silence will not be a walk in the park.

When I first heard that she was going to take this month of silence on I was shocked with excitement. What a huge thing to take on! A few seconds later entered doubt. There is no freaking way that she will be able to be silent for a whole month! I mean, come on! That is crazy! Especially, from her!

Wow! That thought pattern is not serving anyone, now is it? It is not serving my friend, for me to not believe in her and it doesn’t serve me to not be fully supporting my friends. My past experiences with said friend may bring me to the conclusion that she will not be able to do this, but that is all the past. What does it really matter? The past is the past, the now is the now and right now I am creating that she has the commitment, strength, courage, and passion to do this. Yes, this will be a challenge, but having people in her life that are 100% behind her will motivate her to stick with it. My believing in her may very well be what gets her through those 30 days of muteness.

This theory, this way of being, creating everyone as amazing does not just have to apply to people that are taking on big things. It can work for anyone and any situation. Let’s say the cashier at your local market is less than friendly. Instead of going through her checkout line thinking, “Boo, I got the grumpy one again. I am going to avoid eye contact and get out of here quick.” How about approaching her with pure honest love and gratitude. Offer her a big smile, a hello and a thank you and approach her as if she is the most courageous, inspiring, loving woman you have ever encountered. It doesn’t matter if she still acts grumpy towards you, just keep creating her in the best light and it will serve you, her and everyone else for the best.

So, this is what I am up to. Don’t even try to be less than amazing. I hereby create you (yes, you) as freaking amazing!

What do you say?  Want to take this on with me?  Let’s create everyone as amazing and then see how life shows up!  Remember, stay unattached to the outcome, just keep on creating people as amazing, no matter how they show up.  There is no disappointment to be had in this game of life.

Mercury is in Retrograde…So what’s that mean?

It’s an astrology thing. You can believe whatever you like about astrologists and horoscopes, but that stuff up there is pretty powerful. I can definitely feel the phases that move through the solar system and I like to know what is going on up there. It gives me a nice piece of mind. It doesn’t explain everything in my life, but it gives me comfort to know that this is happening.

Here is a little info that I grabbed off a handy astrology website. Mercury is currently in retrograde until May 11th.

In general, Mercury rules thinking and perception, processing and disseminating information and all means of communication, commerce, education and transportation. By extension, Mercury rules people who work in these areas, especially those who work with their minds or their wits: writers and orators, commentators and critics, gossips and spin doctors, teachers, travellers, tricksters and thieves.

Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings; flawed, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. And all of these problems usually arise because some crucial piece of information, or component, has gone astray or awry.

It is not exactly wise to make important decisions while Mercury is retrograde, since it is likely that such decisions will be clouded by misinformation, poor communication and careless thinking. Mercury is all about mental clarity and the power of the mind, so when Mercury is retrograde these intellectual characteristics tend to be less acute than usual, as the critical faculties are dimmed. Make sure you pay attention to the small print!

The key issue here is one of focus. Mercury’s retro phase tends to bring unforeseen changes and blockages, but the aggravation and frustration that many of us experience during these periods is often due to our own inability to roll with the punches. Is this due to our ego-fixation?

Mercury sets out to restructure our thinking processes and for many of us this is painful and frustrating. Unresolved issues from the past tend to push themselves forward. Moreover, these experiences reveal flaws in our internal organisation as well as our external planning, which can make us feel foolish and inadequate.

Mercury retrograde, like any cosmic aspect, affects people differently, depending on where it hits their personal charts. Some people actually prosper under a retro Mercury, especially if Mercury is retrograde but otherwise well-aspected in their birth charts. For example, I have heard of some who excel in the way they play roulette under a retrograde Mercury! It is also a time when matters begun under a previous retro period will come to fruition, or completion as the case may be. Firm decisions that have been previously made when Mercury is travelling normally through the zodiac may be implemented or finalised while Mercury is retrograde without too much worry, for experience shows that this can be done without undue problems arising.

When Mercury is retrograde, everyone’s thinking is more introspective; we tend to think about issues and concerns that relate to the sign involved. With Mercury retrograde in Taurus, people with this sign prominent in their charts will be especially prone to such introspection. Taurus is a Fixed Sign, so the other Fixed Signs, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius will also receive a touch of the lash!

Mercury turns retro on April 18 at 12°37′ Taurus, amidst a welter of planetary aspects, the most notable being the stressful square to Mars, which is certainly aggravating and has been since April 4. This aspect will be particularly strong on the 25th and 26th of April, when trying to get things done is frustrating. Incorrect information or directions may cause you to be too early, or too late. The wretched car may break down, or transportation delays trash your travel schedule. Buying a car or other equipment may be beset by snags. Others may say things, or use methods that provoke you. Avoid rash behaviour; make sure you understand any information you receive. No matter what the headaches, you still make measurable progress. You are likely to be more competitive or aggressive, which can help you accomplish more. Protect yourself against airborne colds and fever and take extra precautions when handling electrical equipment and volatile materials.

Helpful?  It was for me!

Hi, I’m Tricia. I’m a Joyologist. Do you want to be one, too?

Hi! Hi! Let me introduce myself, as this is my first official entry as a Superforester.  I am your resident Joyologist, Love Inspiring Tricia.  I am honored that a few posts from my personal blog, I am Being, have been re-posted here and now I get to be a part of the team.

Last year, I created a job for myself on tour with Jason Mraz and was given the title of JOYOLOGIST.  Now, people often tell me that they need a Joyologist and my response is, “Great!  Create yourself as a Joyologist!  Be your own Joyologist?”  Which then brings them to ask, “How can I learn to be a Joyologist?”  I don’t have a written up, bullet-proof answer for that, but I can tell you how I became one.  It all started with Matthew and Terces Engelhart of Café Gratitude.  They are responsible for my transformation into the Joyologist and they are responsible for me getting that being the Joyologist is who I am and not just what I do for a living.

Matthew and Terces are coming to Los Angeles this weekend for their first L.A. workshop, Kindred Spirits.  What I am saying to you is GET YOURSELF TO IT!  Tell your friends, family members, co-workers anyone and everyone who can get to it, to get to it!  I promise it will transform your life.  You will awaken to your most amazing self.  These are the people who originated “BE LOVE.”  If you can’t get to it, then I highly, highly, so highly recommend ordering their books, boardgame, and logbook.  They are amazing.  They are inspiring.  They will show you that you are amazing and that you are inspiring and so much more.

Register here, right now!

And don’t worry!  They won’t make you turn into a farming raw-foodist, you can still be you, just a more awesome version of you!

And Friday night you can check out how they brought transfomation to this guy.
