Aloha everyone from Zero One (safely removed from the coast line here in Hawaii). We’ve been watching the news and keeping our hearts focused on prayers of love for everyone affected by the earthquakes and tsunamis near Japan.
We’re all in this together. Just wanted you superforesters to know that we here are safe and sound for now. Namaste…

Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Breathing In Space…
Flying along on this mysterious planet through the mysterious cosmos…
And at this very moment (as I’m writing this… perhaps not as you are reading it)
there are people all around the earth engaged in a conscious breathing exercise to synchronize and amplify the specific intention of Peace in the Middle East.
Does that sound like something you’d like to participate in?
Then go to http://doasone.com and enter the Universal Breathing Room.
This website is a treasure…
If you don’t make it there today (Saturday, in between the hours of 12noon to 12midnight PST) to join in this specific intention period, then perhaps you can check it out some other time and even sign up to be an ambassador of the breath.
Much Love to you all…
ALO-HA (alo= to remember, ha= the breath)!!!!

Aloha From London… Just read Jackson’s post about unpacking the past and it made me want to post a video of a song I wrote after seeing the very same Lenny and talking the very same story the last time I was kauai… so here’s the song: “Don’t Blame Me” recorded at my house a month ago with some lovely background vocals by the lovely Pamela Samuelson and “filmed” here in foggy London-town tonight.
Namaste. j
Peace Is… or Peace Is Not…
That is the question…
Peace IS means Peace is ALL. Peace is Everything.
Bullets… Butterflies…
Dancing… Death…
We are Peace… or Pieces of Peace at least.
Time to pick ourselves up and put us back together again.
LOVE. PEACE. DEATH.
One Big Cycle.
One Big Wave.
Words and Symbols fall apart.
Concepts, Objects, Actions, fade.
Let’s gently expand the borders of our hearts
Until Everything is included.
Ashes to Ashes.
Void to Void.
All to All.

Aloha Friends,
Here’s something Fun Interesting and Inspirational.
(jrc)
“In religion and politics, people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue, but have taken them at second hand from other non-exmainers, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing.”
-Mark Twain
Aloha from LOS ANGELES!!!
Superforester Jon recently turned me on to a book that I started reading today called The Aquarian Conspiracy, by Marilyn Ferguson.

And the first thing that I feel like doing is what Jon did for me by reminding me of the origins of the word Conspiracy.
From the Latin roots, Con: meaning “with” and Spiro: meaning “I breathe” we get the word Conspire: meaning “I breathe with…”
From there “To Conspire” is easily translatable as “To Breathe Together”. Thus the word Conspiracy in this new light conjures the very positive and simple imagery of all of the participants operating as a single unit… Highly inspirational imagery when we think about how much we all want people to be actively United on this amazing planet.
This book was ahead of its time when it was first published in 1980, predicting many of the social transformations that are taking place today, and it seems as important as ever for us to now get deeply involved with the personal and internal transformations that this book recommends.
Here’s an excerpt from the introduction, entitled “The Movement That Has No Name”:
“Something remarkable is underway. It is moving with almost dizzying speed, but it has no name and eludes description…
The spirit of our age is fraught with paradox. It is at the same time pragmatic and transcendental. It values both enlightenment and mystery… power and humility… interdependence and individuality. It is simultaneously political and apolitical. Its movers and shakers include individuals who are impeccably Establishment allied with one-time sign-carrying radicals.
Within recent history “it” has infected medicine, education, social science, hard science, even government with its implications. It is characterized by fluid organizations reluctant to create hierarchical structures, averse to dogma. It operates on the principle that change can only be facilitated, not decreed. It is short on manifestos. It seems to speak to something very old. And perhaps, by integrating magic and science, art and technology, it will succeed where all the king’s horses and all the king’s men have failed.”
The idea of an internal change causing societal change is the same philosophy of the other book Jon recently recommended to us called Manual for the Peacemaker: An Iroquois Legend to Heal Self and Society, by Jean Houston…
The Manual for the Peacemaker is a group style workshop book that we will be beginning the first week of January, 2011. Please feel free to reach out in the comments of this post if you think you might be interesting in committing to the 8 week long arc of that journey. We will be conducting the group sessions via e mail and a splendid time is guaranteed for all…
Much Aloha,

Aloha from Tampa, Florida on this fine winter’s eve.
I’m 19 minutes and 23 seconds into the film that Jackson and Melissa recommended to me weeks ago… KYMATICA!!! And I already want to recommend it to you…

Here’s one particular batch of text that inspired me to make this post:
“Cancer begins with a group of cells within a community that fail to communicate with the conscious signal of the organism. Those cells begin to grow out of control and spread to other areas of the organism.
This very disease is evident in our world today. The cancer upon our Earth is the domination of our false ego and our divorce from nature.
Collectively among every human vanity leads to segregation and competition.
Competition leads to fear and greed.
Greed leads to deceit and immorality.
And immorality is the breeding ground for illness, waging war on our Earth.
Every act of hatred and destructiveness in our world begins with self hate and self destructiveness.
And it all begins with a breakdown of communication.”
So… check out The Movie if you feel like it… and let’s remember to keep all our channels of communication OPEN!
aloha.

thanks to superforester dawn
Aloha Everyone from Chicago… Here’s a quick recommendation of a book that has been very inspiring to me lately…

Guru Singh is a wonderful yoga teacher and musician and leader from Los Angeles who has already published a book entitled 108 Ways to Great Days and now he’s done it again with the fantastic and wonderful and timely Angels Gather Here. A book that describes to us and urges us, regardless of our faith (or lack thereof) to practice “Nine Angelic Aspects of Human Life on Planet Earth.”
Those book title links are to Amazon if you feel like bringing some good old fashioned journaling/workshop books into your world that are full of words that will lift your spirit and steady your grip and strengthen your courage and yada yada yada…
Here’s a quote/some good advice from the book:
“Take the time to sit for a few minutes at the beginning of each day and bring yourself to stillness inside and out. Be motionless and silent and allow the messages for your day to unfold… At first it will seem like just more noise from the days before, but after doing this for several weeks, on a daily basis, you will begin to experience a sense of levity and authenticity in the messaging.
Join in the Joy… become a partner of the Heaven on Earth team.”

Aloha From Los Angeles Everyone…
Listening to some beautiful Piano music, recorded in the 1920′s, played by a man named George Gurdjieff… a very interesting man.
This music was given to me by the lovely Zero-One residents Justin and Mea, and they told me that it is one of the most meditation friendly recordings they’d ever heard… “brain harmonizing” were their exact words…
And I believe it to be true… within seconds of the first piece I can feel my body adjust to a new state of being… (although, perhaps that’s just because it was my intention to adjust to a new state of being?)
Here’s a video I put together so you can hear what I’m hearing right now… so good.
And while you’re listening, here is an inspirational quote from Gurdjieff:
“Man’s possibilities are very great. You cannot even conceive a shadow of what man is capable of attaining. But nothing can be attained in sleep. In the consciousness of a sleeping man his illusions, his ‘dreams’ are mixed with reality. He lives in a subjective world and he can never escape from it. And this is the reason why he can never make use of all the powers he possesses and why he lives in only a small part of himself.”
